The video is accompanied by a number of additional sources that are crucial if students are  to investigate the issues introduced by the video.

Water Scarcity introduces, but does not investigate in any detail, the many issues that must be addressed in any exploration of fresh water. Once identified, students may work in cooperative groups to research and report on their findings and recommendations as to the appropriate individual and community response to these issues.
