Welcome to Resources for Rethinking’s searchable database of children’s books for young learners. This inventory is being created to assist teachers in their efforts to promote literacy through engaging stories that explore important sustainability themes. All of the materials featured have been reviewed by teachers and recommended for use with specific subjects and age groups. Most books are available through municipal and provincial library systems.
Access our K to 5 catalogue below. You can then use the search engine to refine your search by subject, grade and ESD theme or issue. Many of the books in our catalogue are available from your local library.
