When hearing about climate change, people sometime believe and feel like only grand actions that require a lot of time, money, intelligence and abilities will help solve the problem. In this video students will realize that every small gesture can, in fact, have a huge and positive impact on the environment! Students will explore different actions taken by others that they could easily implement in their lifestyle to help in the fight against climate change.

This video supports a number of Science and social studies outcomes.

It provides an excellent introduction to the study of sustainability and could be used as the precursor to a classroom action project. Students could plan and evaluate their daily activities in regard to their ecological footprint and set the stage for taking their first steps to become active citizens to combat climate change.
