Description
This video focuses attention on the global cost of climate change. Evidence from climate science and footage of real time events are used to effectively illustrate the economic, personal, environmental and geopolitical costs of carbon pollution that humans have incurred due largely to our reliance on fossil fuels. The program provides a history of climate change and its impacts from the 19th century to today.
In addition to the video, the resource includes teaching tips, links to supplementary information for students and teachers and comments on the video from climate scientists.

The video and its focus on the impacts of carbon pollution over time would be an asset to any study/unit of climate change. It demonstrates clearly that climate change is happening, it's happening now and it can affect anyone, anywhere, anytime.
