Tale of the Forgotten Food

Description

Students are invited on a mission to save money, food and the planet. The video encourages students to take an inventory of the food in their fridge, pantry and entire kitchen. Then they create a three-day meal plan with the food they already have in their home. The video also explains that not only will the students be helping their families save money, they will also be helping the planet by shrinking the food waste mountain

The resource is part of an action toolkit that includes other videos and activities to further explore the topic of food waste.
