The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide us with a path forward and a means of measuring our success in reaching the Goals. This short video is an effective tool for introducing the SDGs while acknowledging the complexity of the challenges involved. It also references other videos in the series that explore some of the topics raised in this particular resource.

Recommendation of how and where to use it

The video is an effective tool in introducing the SDGs and beginning a conversation with students about the merits of the Goals, the challenges involved and our responsibility with respect for their achievement. As such, it will support those units of study that examine the environmental, social and economic challenges in moving towards a preferred future.
