Description

The books tells the true story of Henry Brown, a slave who mailed himself to freedom.  After watching his family be sold as slaves,  Brown visits an abolitionist who figures out a way to protect Henry from the impending slave auction.  He is packed inside of a crate and shipped to a place where there was no slavery.  The story depicts his journey through treacherous conditions to his eventual freedom.
