In this experiential learning activity, students explore their schoolyard to document its biodiversity and create a wildlife inventory. With the support of an award-winning software platform from Project Noah, students incorporate technology and inquiry skills to identify species, upload photographs and share their findings and conclusions with other Bioblitz participants from schools around the world. In addition to learning about the various species inhabiting their community, students will develop an understanding of the connection between biodiversity and the health of the environment in which they live.
