Climate Game Changers

Secondary, Middle

Description

Climate Game Changers is a choose your adventure interactive toolkit to help students and teachers better understand climate impacts, solutions, and everyday actions! The resource is designed as an interactive website for students and teachers to learn more about climate change and actions they can take to help in the fight against climate change.

The website is geared for three different users: students, teachers, and adults, and it provides a variety of climate change information through articles, videos, games, and activities. The user can choose two paths to explore:

  1. The Climate Change 101 path provides links to videos, activities and articles that provide evidence of our changing climate and help the user understand key concepts, including climate versus weather, global warming, greenhouse gases, who is responsible for climate change, the impact on plants and animals, the causes of climate change and more.
  2.  The Take Action Now path provides links to ways to take action, play games about climate change, how to talk about climate change and everyday actions you can take to fight climate change

Clicking on the paw print in the bottom right corner will take users to a CPAWS project or campaign relevant to that page.
