A project of LSF
The resource Climate Change and Art consists of an art activity that allows the student to visualize what is important in the environment and why it is important for us, for the animals and for the land.
The lesson begins with a brainstorming session about things to draw that are related to climate change and the environment. Next, the students are given the materials required to complete a drawing of something that is important to them. Upon completion, the students will reflect on their drawings, aided by discussion questions provided with the resource.
Climate Change and Art offers an activity that can support teaching about climate change, habitats and the environment. In the Appendix there are ideas to supplement the learning along with background information for the teacher.
