Description
This video explains the critical role that seed saving and seed diversity play in ensuring a stable global food supply, now and into the future. They are the seeds of our survival.

Recommendation of how and where to use it
This video could be used to show how important diversity is, even among one species and the lengths we are willing to go to to preserve this diversity. It could also be used to demonstrate the global collaboration at hand (seed preservation). Finally, on a more political/ethical level, it could prime a discussion as to whether companies or organizations should be allowed to "own" certain genetic varieties of seeds, or should this diversity be globally shared in order to ensure survival for all?
