In this active game of tag students learn the importance of early detection and rapid response in stopping the spread of invasive species.
By playing the game students explore how the spread of invasive species can be affected by different variables including exposure time, the number of invasive species introduced, and early detection.
Once the game is over students calculate the percentage change in each round to determine which variables had the greatest impact and consider how the game relates to managing invasive species in general and in their own communities.
