Marine Litter

Elementary, Middle

Description

Surfrider's "Marine Litter" takes a close look at the origin of marine debris and its composition.  It explains via clips and interviews with specialists the problems that marine litter creates for the ocean environment. The video touches on issues such as food chains, invasive species and environmental impacts. The final message of action is that we can prevent marine litter by attacking the source: reducing waste production, reusing objects and recycling.
