'Understanding Overfishing' provides an effective introduction to the importance of fishing (fish is the largest source of food on the planet); the reasons for the decline in fish stocks (overfishing as a result of inflated fishing limits and technology that allows us to find and catch more fish); the fundamental problem with aquaculture (based on big fish eating small fish); and the needed response if the challenge is to be met (citizen pressure on politicians)
