Stand Up! Speak Up!

A Story Inspired by the Climate Change Revolution

Elementary

Description

Stand Up! Speak Up! provides a simple introduction to activism through the eyes of a young girl who attends a climate change march and becomes inspired to do her part to help the planet. By speaking up and encouraging her community to get involved, the book shows that no change is too small, and no person is too young to make a difference. The picture book also profiles fourteen young persons from around the world who have taken action on environmental issues. The book jacket becomes a sign that reads, “Marching for MY Future" ready to be used for the next Climate Change march.
