Description
This video based on the Magic School Bus series of children’s books about science, sees an eccentric teacher (Ms. Frizzle) take her class on an exciting educational field trip. With the help of a magic school bus, the class explores and learns may amazing things about habitat.
In this episode the class frog escapes, and the class goes out in search of possible habitat where it may now be living. This leads to discussions about the biodiversity in various habitats, the importance of preserving these habitats, and the connectedness of all living things.

This video could serve effectively as an introduction to the variety of habitats that we find in our world and to help illusgtrate the diverse species that live there. It could also be used to generate discussion on the importance of protecting habitat.
