Description

In this short video, Natalie Portman, Kyra Sedgwick and Chloe Sevigny explain how small changes in lifestyle will have a big impact in reversing the effects of greenhouse gas emissions.  They convincingly make the argument that changing one light bulb can save the lives of countless species.

This short program would provide a highly engaging introduction to the study of energy use and conservation.  It could also be used to explore how fluorescent light bulbs work.  The students, after watching the video, could research as to why this bulb in so effective.
