Description

This book presents beautiful photographs of people around the globe doing their part to contribute to a peaceful world.  The text is simple, yet efficient in sending the message to students that it is not just the responsibility of  adults and politicians to provide peace.  Each person shares a role in this important task.  The book presents ideas from children on creating peace which include sharing a smile and making a friend.  The afterword includes detailed descriptions of the photographs and the stories that accompany them.
